the first one - the font goes with the quote. you could've used another font that would make a few words stand out, but it still looks good. the second one - the colors go together well. i would suggest making the part "Only One" in the same font style.size as the parts "bravery" and "afraid." the third one - the colors are good. someone's eyes would be drawn to either the volleyball or the larger words (depending on the person) if the background was a little more "alive" it would've been much "awesomer" to look at.
1st poster: i really like the font of the first poster. i like the purple and white combination, too. 2nd poster: i like how the first and last rows are bold and how each word has its own separate line. the only thing that i would change is just a typo. you wrote 'your' when it should have been 'you're'. 3rd poster: i really like how you put in the volleyball stamp. that added character to the poster. i think that i wouldn't have chosen that red color because its so bright.
love the color and font in the first one. its simple but still cute and gets the point across very well. in the second one i loved the texture of the background and the bolded words gives it more emphasis and meaning the last one is cute too because its so true and i feel like you meant it because you love volleyball so much
I like that you used such bright colors, it really makes the words really stand out, especially on the second poster. :) I also like your quotes, the first one is one of my favorites too, and the other two are meaningful too. The only thing I'd say about changing them, is to maybe make your text go a different direction, like diagonally, since the text on all three posters is fairly alike..but overall I think you did a really good job :)
"life isn't measured" Beautiful color combo, the font and alignment of the text is nice and clear. Maybe try experimenting with the brushes to get a bit more of a textured background.
I like the color of purple (best color ever) and that your two main words are not capitalized and everything else is.
a little plain; maybe add curves or play with the eraser tool in regards to text and such. You can do so much with just one or two little tools!
"sweat" favorite of your posters! nice composition, and the volleyball symbol lets us know as viewers that you are talking from an athlete's point of view.
The bottom half of the poster is a little blank; add some texture or a border?
First one, "Life isn't measured..." love the font although it still takes a while for me to recognize the letter "d" (yes, every time). Nice color combination, but having mor texture would be nice. More emphasis on something would be nice, but overall I thought it was pretty good.
Second one, "Bravery..." Like the quote, and mostly even agree with it, so...I really like how you made the words "bravery" and "afraid" stand out by having them in a larger size and in a different font, (especially since the other font is all caps). I think that had a really nice effect on the quote as a whole.
Third one, "Sweat..." not quite sure how I feel about this one,but I don't really like the colors, the red is to dark I think (or something) and the black just doesn't stand out as well.

pretty cool stuff ya got here, the first one I like best.

The second one has a good background color with a not to dark yellow.
ReplyDeleteThe third one i lie how you used a volleyball because you did the things in the quote.

ReplyDelete1st: I like how the line size scales. I think the font is to medieval looking.
ReplyDelete2nd: I like the purple on yellow color scheme. I would make the font in the middle a bit bigger and darker.
3rd: Cool have you did the words in different sizes and i like the black on red. Maybe change the font size so it can take up a bit more of the page.

1. kind of boring because it's just white and purple....more creative background?
ReplyDelete2. everything is fine with this one. the font is the right size and the colors match and the background isn't boring.
3. the volleyball is distracting but other than that it's fine.
